I knew from the moment we met
Knowing God had created me for you
I though, you spoke
Sometimes we didn’t even need to verbalize
We just knew what the other wanted or needed.
We fit together,
You and I, turning over at the same time
Always touching, never far apart
The years have been kind
We’ve had our bad moments
Yet somehow we came through
Harsh words may have been spoken
But the making up was a joy
And the morning was started fresh.
I’ve known you all my life
Always knew you were the one
For as long as I could remember
I’ve never questioned that decision
For my heart and soul knew it was right
You were the one to make my soul shout for joy
Your soul, my soul
Each knew and recognized the other
We never looked back, only ahead
Our souls knew
We were that missing part of the other,
Meant to be united as one until eternity
