You will need two basic mineral eye shadow brushes. The first is called
Italian Badger Brush: Deluxe Oval. This brush provides a flawless
finish every time and is a must have eye shadow brush for all
mineral eye shadows. Italian Badger Brushes are very soft and they
always hold the perfect amount eye shadow!

The second brush is called Angel liner Eye Shadow Brush this brush is
perfect for wet lining. This Long Handle Angel liner brush is approx
6'' 7/8'' inches long. It's ideal for wet lining your eye shadow,
and is made from 100% Taklon. It works just fine as a crease & eye
art brush as well.

Choose a light color for your base color and apply from your lid to brow
bone. This primes the lid and creates a uniform color to apply your
other colors on. If you wear mineral foundation you should always
include your eyelids as this also primes your eye area.

Mineral Eye Shadow Application: Using your eye shadow brush,
dip just the tip of the brush into loose powder, and then tap the
brush on the side of the container to remove any excess powder.
Brush gently on your lids, crease, or under the brow making sure to
blend until a natural look is achieved.

There are many different ways to apply shadow, depending on the look or
effect you want to achieve. The wonderful aspect of mineral makeup
is that they blend so nicely with each other. You can always layer
several to get the affect you want to achieve. The right technique
can create an illusion to draw wide set eyes closer, deep set eyes
out, etc. You can create your very own perfect illusion :)

Add a deeper color in your crease, feathering the color up so it blends.
Remember to begin with a light hand. You can add more color if
needed. Apply a complimentary lighter color on your lid, and blend
lightly into the deeper color in your crease.
When doing eye art always use three blending colors, blending each color
into the next color will created a perfect balance. If you really want
your eyelashes to stand out use a light or bright color right above
the eyelash. This created a focal point to the viewer and created a
beautiful back ground for your eyelashes! You can also use an
eyeliner pencils to achieve the same thing!
Note: to readers as you can see when one uses a light color eye shadow
or eyeliner it creates a focal point to eye art as well as eyelashes.

For deeper color and more shimmer, you can ”foil” your shadow using the
liquid eyeliner technique shown below, covering the entire lid
area using a wet powder. After the shadow dries, blend lightly to
soften the edges. Elegant Glimmers work very well for foiling, taking
on an iridescent quality like no other as well as Magic eye
shadows.

Liquid Eye Liner: (Wet-Lining) Place a small amount of powder
into a lid or swirl bowl. Using a moistened liner brush (Like Aloe Vera
juice but water is fine), dip the tip into loose powder. Using your lid
or the back of your hand, mix the powder and liquid together to
create a smooth consistency. Working swiftly, carefully apply to
upper and/or lower lids starting as close to the lashes as possible.
Don’t line the inner area of the eye it can cause irritation!

My last tip is always replacing the lid on your mineral makeup, when you
are done with it. This will protect your minerals cosmetics from
bacteria and free radicals in the room. Believe it or not you should
never leave your minerals on a shelf that has light from your
bathroom casting light on it. All minerals should me stored in a cool
dark place. I store all of my minerals is temperature control and out
of all light. This keeps them really fresh. In fact my cosmetic line is not pre-made-up like most.
