When you take care of cleansing your face, do you bother even cleansing your neck as well? When it comes to face care some forget that your neck is just as important as your face in terms of care. In fact your neck will show your true age no matter how many face lifts, shots etc you may have had if you are not taking care of it as well.
Your neck like your face can develop enlarged pores and blemishes too. Next time try this little tip, while you are starting to wash your face, extend the facial cleanser over neck, leaving it there, while you work on removing you’re the rest of your makeup. Using a extra creamy moisturizer on the front, and sides of your neck is also a good idea. The sides of your neck can get really dry like any other part of your body does.
I was once told to apply moisturizer on my neck in upward motions because as I would get older it would have helped gravity from not pulling my neck muscles down, causing me to look older than I was.
Another tip I got was hold your head up high, when you are young because you are in fact
helping your neck muscles become stronger, so double chins do not happen, nor does crepe throat and lord forbid that lump of fat on the back of your neck. Easy to fix by remembering to hold your head high, and sitting up straight helps as well.
You can discourage wrinkles with massage. I have always applied night cream at the base of my neck of my throat for your applying it with a upward motion. The reason being I was told years ago was to help stop bringing on crepe wrinkles on my throat.
A little makeup tip for you. Avoid the sharp line between your jaw-line and your neck when
applying foundation. In fact you can use foundation to contour your neck if you need be. You can make a receding chin appear stronger by highlighting it with foundation a few shades lighter than your face, or minimize the appearance of a sagging or double shin by shade it with a darker foundation. Contouring is more of something of the past when there wasn’t as many choices in foundation. It’s still something to know just in case.
These are just guidelines, its up to you to find what works best for you.
